Customization of backlights offers additional flexibility. Engineers can request side-lit or direct-lit structures, improved heat dissipation designs, or even modified brightness levels based on specific product requirements. In environments with strong ambient light, pairing high-brightness backlights with optical bonding significantly enhances outdoor readability by reducing reflections and improving contrast.
