When working, the resistive touch screen can only judge one touch point at a time. If there are more than two touch points, the correct judgment cannot be made, so the resistive touch screen is only suitable for the judgment of simple actions such as clicking and dragging. There are four different types of resistive screens.
1. Four-wire resistive screen:
When the two transparent metal layers of the 4-wire resistance simulation process work, the constant voltage of each layer is increased by 5V: one vertical and one horizontal. A total of four cables are required.
Four-wire resistance screen features high resolution, fast transmission response. Surface hardness treatment to reduce scratches, scratches and chemical resistance. Smooth surface, matte finish. One calibration, high stability, never drift.
2. Five-wire resistive screen:
The base of the five-wire resistance technology touch screen applies the voltage fields in two directions to the conductive working surface of the glass through a precise resistance network. We can simply understand that the voltage fields in the two directions work on the same working surface in time-sharing. The outer nickel-gold conductive layer is only used as a pure conductor. The position of the touch point is measured by time-divisionally detecting the X-axis and Y-axis voltage of the ITO contact point within the post-touch. The internal ITO of the five-wire resistive touch screen requires four wires, the outer layer only acts as a conductor, and the touch screen has five wires.
Features of five-wire resistive screen: high resolution, fast transmission response. High surface hardness reduces scratches, scratches and resistance to chemical treatments. It can still make 30 million contacts with the same point. Conductive glass is used as the medium for the substrate. One calibration, high stability, never drift.
3. Seven-wire resistive screen:
The implementation method of the seven-wire touch screen is the same as that of the five-wire touch screen, except that a line is added in the upper left corner and the lower right corner. When performing screen measurements, connect one line in the upper left corner to VREF and the other line to the positive reference of the SAR ADC. At the same time, one line on the bottom right is connected to 0V and the other is connected to the negative reference of the SAR ADC. The conductive layer is still used to measure the voltage of the voltage divider.
4. Eight-wire resistive screen:
An eight-wire touch screen is implemented in the same way as a four-wire touch screen, except that one wire is added to each bus. For the VREF bus, one line is used to connect VREF, and the other line is used as the positive reference input of the SAR ADC's digital-to-analog converter. For the 0V bus, one line is used to connect 0V, and the other line is used as the negative reference input for the SAR ADC digital-to-analog converter. Any of the four wires on the unbiased layer can be used to measure the voltage of the voltage divider.
